# Killstreaks

Consecutive-kill streaks, tier buffs, rewards and the anti-farm rules.

File: `plugins/ClickEmCore/modules/killstreaks.yml`. Module id: `killstreaks`. Commands: `/killstreaks`, `/ks`.

A streak counts consecutive kills. It resets if no kill lands within `timeout-seconds`. Reaching a tier switches on a live buff that lasts while that tier is active. **Tiers do not stack**: only the highest reached tier applies.

```yaml
timeout-seconds: 15
tiers:
  10:
    rarity: COMMON
    bonus:
      damage-mult: 5.0
  100:
    rarity: ANCIENT
    bonus:
      damage-mult: 60.0
      crit-chance-mult: 20.0
    reward-currency: 1000
```

| Key                                             | Meaning                                                                                                       |
| ----------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `timeout-seconds` | Streak timeout. Kept short on purpose (15). VIP ranks add extra seconds. |
| `tiers.<kills>`                                 | A tier starts at that many kills.                                                                             |
| `tiers.<kills>.bonus`                           | Live [stats](/lethium-docs/configuration/stats-and-limits.md) while the tier is active.                       |
| `tiers.<kills>.reward-currency`, `reward-items` | One-time reward the first time the streak reaches the tier. Coin rewards are scaled to the player's progress. |
| `tiers.<kills>.rarity`                          | Only changes the tooltip frame.                                                                               |
| `streak-saver.enabled`, `auto-buy-cost` | Dying pays Coins to keep the streak. Off by default. |

### Anti-farm

| Rule              | Keys                                                                          | What it does                                                                                                                                                                                     |
| ----------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Zone gate** | `zone-gate.enabled`, `max-zones-below` (3) | Only kills within 3 zones of the player's highest unlocked zone count. Late players cannot farm the cheapest mobs. `-1` turns it off. |
| **Reward window** | `daily-limit.enabled`, `window-hours` (24), `max-rewarded-tiers` (10), `mode` | Limits tier payouts per time window. `REWARDS`: over the limit tiers still show but pay nothing. `LOCK`: kills stop building the streak until the window ends. The buff itself is never limited. |

Staff can reset a player's window with `/ceadmin killstreaks resetlimit <player>`.

### Placeholders

`%clickem_killstreak_count%`, `_decay_percent`, `_seconds_left`, `_tier`, `_next_tier`, `_tier_progress_percent`, `_timeout_seconds`, `_limit_remaining`, `_window_seconds`. See [Combat placeholders](/lethium-docs/placeholders/combat.md).

### How to

* **Make streaks easier:** raise `timeout-seconds` or lower the tier numbers.
* **Add a tier:** copy a block, change the kill number, and give it a `bonus`. Tier numbers can be any whole numbers.
* **Reward items:** add `reward-items` under a tier using the same item format as other modules' rewards.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://lethium.gitbook.io/lethium-docs/gameplay/killstreaks.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
