# Fusion

Fusion: upgrade a pet to Golden, Rainbow and Shiny, or convert its species.

Files: `plugins/ClickEmCore/modules/fusion.yml` (menu only) and the per-pet `fusion-tiers` and `fusion-recipe` blocks in `modules/pets/<id>.yml`. Module id: `fusion`. Commands: `/fuse`, `/fusion`.

Fusion is the **only** pet-conversion mechanic. There are two kinds.

### Variant fusion (Golden, Rainbow, Shiny)

Duplicates of the same pet are combined into a stronger **variant**. The ladder and its multipliers are set per pet:

```yaml
fusion-tiers:
  golden:
    power-multiplier: 1.4
    coins-multiplier: 1.6
    essence-multiplier: 1.5
    required-duplicates: 5
  rainbow: {power-multiplier: 2.2, coins-multiplier: 2.8, essence-multiplier: 2.5, required-duplicates: 8}
  shiny:   {power-multiplier: 3.5, coins-multiplier: 5.0, essence-multiplier: 4.2, required-duplicates: 12}
```

* Always succeeds.
* `required-duplicates` is how many copies are needed for that step.
* Each multiplier applies to the matching pet stat. A Shiny pet is shown with a bigger head and glow (see `visuals.variant-rarity-floor` in `pets.yml`).

### Species fusion

Combines copies of a pet into the **next pet in its chain**.

```yaml
fusion-recipe:
  result: Z1_2
  required-count: 3
  success-chance: 80
```

It is **chance-based**. On a failed attempt the copies are consumed anyway. VIP ranks add `fusion-luck-bonus` percentage points to the roll.

### Auto Fuse

The **Auto** button (slot 49) fuses everything that is ready, looping until nothing is left (Commons to Golden to Rainbow in one go). Left-click runs it now, right-click toggles auto-fusing newly obtained pets. `/fuse auto` does the same.

Auto Fuse keeps one survivor per species and variant (the equipped one, else the locked or highest prestige or level), consumes spare copies starting with the lowest level, and **never consumes equipped or locked pets**. Species fusion is never automated.

### Settings in `fusion.yml`

Only the menu: `gui.rows`, `gui.content-slots`, `gui.border`, `gui.slots.auto`.

### How to

* **Make Golden easier:** lower `required-duplicates` in the pet files (or use a search-and-replace across `modules/pets/`).
* **Make species fusion safer:** raise `success-chance`.
* **Make a pet unfusable:** remove its `fusion-recipe`.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://lethium.gitbook.io/lethium-docs/gameplay/fusion.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
