# Integrations

CustomBeacons works with **more than 30 plugins**. Every integration switches itself on when the other plugin is installed, and switches itself **off with a log line** if that plugin's API does not match, so a plugin update can never break CustomBeacons. Each one can also be turned off in `config.yml` under `hooks:`.

## Economy and custom items

| Plugin             | What you get                                                                                                  |
| ------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Vault**          | `MONEY` prices                                                                                                |
| **PlayerPoints**   | `POINTS` prices                                                                                               |
| **PlaceholderAPI** | The plugin's placeholders, placeholders inside texts, custom currencies, and a way to plug in any team plugin |
| **ItemsAdder** | Custom items as prices and icons, custom blocks as pyramid power (`itemsadder:namespace:id`) |
| **Nexo**           | The same (`nexo:id`)                                                                                          |
| **Oraxen**         | The same (`oraxen:id`)                                                                                        |

## Teams (who counts as your team and allies)

| Plugin                       | A player's team is                  | Allies                                     |
| ---------------------------- | ----------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------ |
| **ZelTeams**                 | Their team                          | Allied teams                               |
| **FactionsUUID** and forks | Their faction | MEMBER and ALLY relations (TRUCE optional) |
| **BetterTeams**              | Their team                          | Allied teams                               |
| **SimpleClans**              | Their clan                          | Allied clans                               |
| **Towny** | Their town | Same nation, or allied nations |
| **Lands** | The land they own or are trusted in | Lands with an ALLY relation |
| **HuskTowns**                | Their town                          | ALLY relation                              |
| **BentoBox** (any game mode) | The island they are on | none |
| **SuperiorSkyblock2**        | Their island                        | Coop players (optional)                    |
| Vanilla scoreboard teams | Their scoreboard team | none |

`TEAM_BANK` prices are paid from the team's shared bank with ZelTeams and BetterTeams. Any other team plugin can be used by giving the PlaceholderAPI placeholder that returns the team name:

```yaml
hooks:
  teams:
    myfactions:
      name: "Factions"
      placeholder: "%some_placeholder%"   # copy the exact name from that plugin's docs
      allies-placeholder: ""              # optional: comma separated allied team names
      no-team-values: ["", "none", "n/a"]
```

Run `/cbeacon teams` to test. A developer can also add a team plugin or a **claim** plugin through the [Developer API](/custombeacons-or-65-effects-or-35-hooks/developer-api/events-and-reading-beacons.md).

## Claims and regions

These plugins can make players **trusted** on a beacon standing in their claim, and optionally **require** beacons to be placed inside a claim the player can build in (`require-...-to-place`).

| Plugin | Who counts as trusted | Config |
| --------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | -------------------------------- |
| **GriefPrevention** | Players trusted in the claim at the level you set (default Build) | `hooks.griefprevention` |
| **Lands**             | Land owner and players with a role flag (default BLOCK\_PLACE)                  | `hooks.lands-claims`             |
| **Towny** | Residents of the town (`TOWN`) or the plot owner and trusted residents (`PLOT`) | `hooks.towny-claims` |
| **BentoBox**          | Island rank at or above `min-rank` (default TRUSTED)                            | `hooks.bentobox-claims`          |
| **SuperiorSkyblock2** | Island members and owner (`MEMBER`), coop players too (`COOP`)                  | `hooks.superiorskyblock2-claims` |
| **HuskTowns**         | Town members inside the town's claims                                           | `hooks.husktowns.claims`         |
| **HuskClaims**        | Claim owner and trusted users                                                   | `hooks.huskclaims`               |
| **Residence**         | Residence owner and players with a flag (default `build`)                       | `hooks.residence`                |
| **BetterFarming**     | Farm owner and trusted players                                                  | `hooks.betterfarming`            |
| **WorldGuard**        | Owners and members of the region                                                | `hooks.worldguard.claims`        |

WorldGuard also adds two **region flags**:

| Flag                    | Effect                                               |
| ----------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------- |
| `custombeacons-effects` | `deny` switches beacon effects off inside the region |
| `custombeacons-place`   | `deny` stops beacons being placed inside the region  |

```
/rg flag spawn custombeacons-effects deny
/rg flag spawn custombeacons-place deny
```

Staff with `custombeacons.admin.bypass` or WorldGuard's `worldguard.region.bypass.<world>` ignore the flags. Flag answers are remembered for a second (`hooks.worldguard.cache-seconds`). Opening or placing a beacon also respects block-place denials from your protection plugins.

## Skills, income and shops

| Plugin                                     | Effect                                                                                          |
| ------------------------------------------ | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **mcMMO**, **Jobs Reborn**, **AuraSkills** | **Skill Experience** multiplies their XP |
| **Jobs Reborn** | **Jobs Income** multiplies its money and points payouts |
| **EconomyShopGUI**, **ShopGUI+** | **Sell Boost** raises sell prices (purchases are unchanged). EssentialsX `/sell` is not covered |

## Mobs, spawners and stacking

| Plugin                  | What you get                                                                                                                                  |
| ----------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **MythicMobs** | Mob effects skip MythicMobs mobs by default so bosses are left alone. Change it with `affect-mythic-mobs`, `always-affect` and `never-affect` |
| **RoseStacker** | Spawner Amount raises how many mobs a stacked spawner spawns. Mob Loot multiplies the loot of a whole stack killed at once |
| **WildStacker** | Spawner Amount raises the stack of the freshly spawned mob |
| **SmartSpawner** | Spawner Speed and Spawner Amount work on its virtual spawners. Original values are put back when no beacon covers the spawner |
| **UpgradeableSpawners** | Spawner Rewards covers its mobs |

Spawner Speed already works on stacked spawners from WildStacker, RoseStacker and SilkSpawners because they are ordinary spawner blocks.

## Hoppers and minions

| Plugin                                         | Effect                         |
| ---------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------ |
| **UpgradeableHoppers** | Hopper Speed and Hopper Amount |
| **AxMinions**, **JetsMinions**, **LitMinions** | Minion Speed |

Minion Speed only speeds up minions whose owner benefits from the beacon and is online. For LitMinions it reads each minion's own action interval, so there is nothing to configure (`hooks.litminions.ticks-per-action` is only a fallback). Minions that are switched off or starving are skipped.

## Maps and logging

| Plugin          | What you get                                                                                                                                                      |
| --------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Dynmap** | Beacons as markers with a range square. Choose the icon, colours, label, which access modes to hide (for example hide private beacons) and how often it refreshes |
| **CoreProtect** | Blocks that effects place (Farmer's Touch replanting) are logged so `/co rollback` covers them. They show up as `#custombeacons` |

## Bedrock

Geyser and Floodgate are detected automatically and give Bedrock players a tap menu. See [Menus and GUI customisation](/custombeacons-or-65-effects-or-35-hooks/running-your-server/menus-and-gui-customisation.md).

## Loot plugins

Crop Yield and Ore Fortune boost the items that are **really dropped**, so loot plugins such as RoseLoot work with them and nothing is boosted twice. Silk Touch and ores that drop themselves (Ancient Debris) are never boosted.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://lethium.gitbook.io/custombeacons-or-65-effects-or-35-hooks/reference/integrations.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
